God bless President Obama

I want to echo Peter Feaver's feelings today about our new president. Let me say something that for some is politically incorrect: I believe that God really did bless this country, and that He looks after it in a very special way. In a very real sense, what is happening today is a reflection of that blessing. I may be of the "loyal opposition," but I could not be prouder than to watch Americans of all faiths, and hues, mobbing the Mall as a young, vigorous man of color, with a Muslim middle name, swears on the Bible that he will preserve and protect our Constitution.

May God be with him...
